All completed translations are automatically proofread by a second translator to insure the high standards Belles Lettres guarantees.

Most foreign languages use more words to express an equivalent thought in the English language making the foreign script longer. For most projects, it would be cost prohibitive to re-edit your original video, lengthening its visuals to match the additional time the foreign language narration requires. Instead, we edit the translated script preserving all content, but shortening paragraphs where needed to fit the length of your original video. We review all changes with you to obtain your approval - of course.
